On August 21st, a total eclipse of the sun will be visible in the U.S. for the first time in almost 40 years. The next eclipse to go through the continental U.S. will be on April 8, 2024. In our area, the eclipse will start at 1:00 pm, peak at 2:23 pm and end at 3:42 pm.
